Homosexuality

I lead people to understand that homosexuality is misunderstood and judged by society due to lack of insight and misconceptions. I explain to them that we have norms in society from which the word normal is derived. The norm is determined by the majority. An example is being able to see because the majority of population can see. Being blind is considered as ab the norm, from which the word abnormal is derived. Abnormality can also be described as being different.

Similarly we have a norm regarding sexuality. Heterosexuality is regarded as normal, because most people are heterosexual. Homosexuality is therefore regarded as ab the norm – thus abnormal or different.

Society does not reject blind, deaf or fat people which are examples of abnormality, or being different but homosexuality is rejected, which is irrational.

I guide people to understand similar misconceptions relating homosexuality. I assist them to make peace with themselves and accept and love themselves as different but worthy.

They come to understand that each of us face a challenge in the school of life. They understand that their challenge is one of self-acceptance and self-love. They learn to accept this challenge joyfully and to be inspired by those well-known homosexuals who have successfully dealt with this challenge.
